RECIPES FOR NEW MOMS AFTER DELIVERY


Delivery is a very big thing for a mom as every part of your body goes under changes, and also there are many changes in your mental state. So it’s very important to take care of yourself after delivery. Most of the women wish to get back to their original shape immediately which is not possible you have to give time to yourself. Eating food that is nutritive has to be eaten. Lossing your weight drastically is impossible. Think of losing weight only after your baby is one year old, because if your don’t have enough nutrition’s in your body it will affect your baby s growth and it’s but natural that you won’t wish this.

After delivery there is some traditional food to be eaten which many moms don’t like, but you have no option then to eat for your health and for staying fit for your baby. Here are some traditional recipes for delivered women.


HEALTHY MASALA LADOOS:

INGREDIENTS:

Wheat rough Atta:                    500 gm
Jaggery (gud):                          750 gm
Sugar candy (khadi sakkar):  200gm
Cashunuts:                               50 gm
Almonds (badam):                  100 gm
Khaskhas:                                25 gm
Methi powder:                          50 gm
Batrisu:                                     50 gm
(Different types of traditional masala)                     
Desi gund:                                200gm
Turmeric powder:                    1 tsp
Coconut grated:                       2 bowl
Ginger powder (sunth):           50 gm


METHOD:

1. Heat ghee and fry gund in it and crush roughly
2. Now roast wheat rough flour in the same ghee. When it turns into light brown color off the gas.
3. Now add ginger powder, batrisu, turmeric, roughly crushed gund,sugar candy(khadi sakar) to the wheat flour and mix it well.
4. Then take a pan and add ghee and jaggery and melt it, and roast the jaggery nicely for just 2 to 3 minute.
5. Then add the flour to the melted jaggery and add grated coconut,cashunuts,almonds, and methi powder and mix it well and make ladoos of it and store it in an air tight container.

This ladoos are eaten at any time of day with in that starting 45 days. It helps in recovering of your health…Each and every ingredient in this ladoos has its importance in recovery of you health after delivery.

HEALTHY SHIRA:

         
INGREDIENTS:

Wheat flour:                     1 cup
Jaggery (gud) grated:     ½ cup
Ginger powder:                2 tsp
Pipermul powder:            2tsp
Dry coconut grated:         3 tsp

METHOD:

1. Roast the wheat flour in ghee till golden brown and keep aside.
2. Then make jaggery water on slow flame, boil it till jiggery dissolves.
3. Now add the jiggery water in the roasted flour, and also add ginger powder,pipermul powder, coconut grated, badam chopped, and mix it well.

The shira is ready. This should be taken every morning before bath so that you can be then ready for breakfast.

GUND PAKA:

INGREDIENTS:

Raw gund:                1 cup
Ghee:                        2 cup
Cashunuts:               ½ cup
Badam:                     ½ cup
Dry coconut grated: 1 cup
Ginger powder:        1 tbsp
Pipermul powder:     2 tsp

METHOD:

1. Crush gund in the mixer grinder.
2. Chop dry fruits and grate coconut.
3. Now mix gund, dry fruits, coconut, ginger powder, pipermul powder, jaggery mix it well and set in a plate, now add hot ghee on it and let it set for sometime in refrigerator.

Gund is heat giving food so this gund pak is very helpful in back pain. If you eat this pak continually till 3 month you won’t have back pain which happens in delivery.
