When this is your position while you are grown up just think how will a child of 4 years or 8 years feel? So for every parent it’s a very big task how to make your child ready for his 1st competitions. Having your child compete at a young age is a great way to not only build skills but also to develop personal skills such as character sportsmanship and confidence. When the competition wrong than it’s the rarely a child problem…But will be the other way round: it may be bad coaching or miss guided by parents.

Here are the few tips how to make your child ready for his 1st competition:

1. PRACTICE MAKES MEN PERFECT:

Before any type of competition it is very important to always practice. It’s said that practice makes men perfect. Give your child practice as much as possible before their competition. This doesn’t mean that you should be on high intensity practice. Your kid should be in comfortable position while he or she is doing practice for any competition. Make them practice any particular twice or thrice a day nicely. That will be enough for a child. Don’t give overburden by making them practice whole day. With this the child will lose interest and will feel very tiresome.

2. FUN:

There is a question that how will you develop an interest in your kid for anything?
For that you need to keep the atmosphere light and create fun in teaching them for competition. While you are training your child, keep the connection between you n your child a fun type relation so that child enjoys and can be trained nicely. For example if you are making your child ready for a fancy dress competition, select the character which is interesting fun making. So that the child can understand the character and when you give them lines about that character he will be able to speak on it easily. Thus by making fun only they can learn many things, which can’t be learned by scolding or beating.

3. SELECT YOUR CHILDS TOPIC WISELY:

You should select the topic for competition wisely, which your kid can perform..Select the topic such a way that your child will be able to perform. For example if there is story telling competition, select the story according to your child’s age. If he is 4 years then select that type of story that they can remember and should be short. As 4 year child can’t remember all big and tough stories. Don’t select any topic because your friend has selected. Please it’s a request to all parents don’t join the parent race in this situation. Don’t forget that its child’s competition and not parents! Keep in mind that taking part in competition is more important than to win.

Support your child in his starting of carrier he will always do well.
