Soon
after delivery a mom is finished with her energy. And needs to take a good care
of herself with baby also. You will have to rest much more than before and
should take food in high nutrition. As you when have a baby you may be told by your
near and elders to take care for first few days. This is very important
because this is the time if you take a complete care of yourself after delivery
will help you life time.Its the best to allow your body to heal at its own
pace. You can help yourself by taking a good rest and eat well and taking
care of infections if any.
Enjoy
this period of rest and settling down, and then you have to rush after your
baby and also in your hectic life. Your body will be going to through lot of
changes and ups and down during that days of motherhood. Mothers that live in
joint family or that move to their parents house for the delivery of their
child are more likely to follow some traditional rules and regulations.
It
depends on which part do you belong to for the indoor practice after delivery.
Mostly in south,, north,west India the moms stay at home till 45 days and in
north eastern state this is not done. And in some part of south India women
stay at home for about 60 to 65 days.
Tension
or any type of stress may directly affect the milk for child so please don’t keep
any stress and spend this rest time happily.
MASSAGE:
Many moms
hire a massage maid for massages or maids to help them in their house during
this time. Traditionally there are many restrictions for new moms for few days
after delivery. This helps the new mums to recover fast and can get time to set
their body to the original post. A massage will be given to be relaxed from the
tiredness you felt during delivery. It helps in blood circulation also. Massage
taken should be different for different type’s delivery. If you have normal
delivery you can start this massage after 8 to 10 of delivery. And if you have Cesarean you have to wait till 15 to 20 days after delivery. As in Cesarean the stitches is on the stomach so the stitches should not affect from this
massage.
REST:
Rest is
equally important for you as new moms. As after delivery your body has lost all
the energy you have to gain it again by taking rest so that after 45 days you
are ready to jump into your life again with all work of yours and new born babies.
As after delivery if you don’t take proper rest then in long run you will have
some health problems like back ache, increasing your body without any reasons.
And if this back aches comes in very small age it’s very terrible. Whenever you
sleep for rest after delivery cross your legs so that the air doesn’t enter your body. If the air enters your body then there are chances of increasing the
stomach and increased stomach part will stay for life time.
NUTRITIOUS FOOD:
After
delivery many moms complain that they have gained too much weight, but there is
no need to worry’s the weight gained will be helpful for breastfeeding. After
delivery you should eat a healthy and balanced diet so you can be active and
able to care for your baby. Many doctors recommend that you should eat when you
are hungry, but many mums are so tired and busy that they forget to take their
meals on time. So it’s very important that you should plan a proper timing for
your breakfast, lunch and dinner too.
So its recommended
that delivery should be done under some experienced elders which can be your
family members like your mother in law, or your mother or any other family
members also you can hire some cook and all time maids who can take care of
yours and babies too.
Whoever
you decide to have as your helper, but you have to be dam sure to make everything
clear to them that what you want them to do. This will help you to take care of
yourself, and keep you from limiting time with your babies.

babies...This affects your future fitness also.
